Design is the art of transforming beliefs and facts into concrete reality. I work with the Client to discover an idea that will organize the entire project into a coherent whole, providing the result with a unique sense of place and identity.
Together the Project Teams seeks coherence, authenticity and lasting value, utilizing in the project’s construction the most effective proven building systems.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE & COORDINATION
I develop and use building systems and construction details which have proven success in the industry and reflect the overall architectural intent and language of project while addressing life cycle costs, constructability and coherence of material/system interfaces. My technical coordination services include QA/QC Project Document Reviews/ Project Condition Assessments, Technical Evaluations, detailing and detail database development.
CONCEPT ORGANIZATION & IMPLEMENTATION
I take an idea given to me by a Client or one of my own which has value to others and win support of that idea from the stakeholders, people who are effected by the idea and whose involvement is necessary for the success of the project. I define an inclusive process, build an effective organization, Implement the process and achieve the process’s intentions, goals and objectives.
BUSINESS & CLIENT DEVELOPMENT
I collaborate with my Client to focus strategic and market planning. We Initiate research and learn about relevant people and organizations to make my Client’s presence and services known to others. It is important that my Client be personally interested and ready to serve and assist others in achieving their goals if my Client wants to benefit from the planning and expand their business.
PROJECT COORDINATION & MANAGEMENT
In achieving appropriate and profitable project coordination and management, I utilize cost effective “management of change” methods to respond to the inevitable changes in scope and time. I motivate staff by Implementing interactive project team collaboration. An important goal is to predict outcomes by employing “ intent-response” goal setting to develop staff time management awareness and budget control.
PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS & CONFERENCES
Present information using visual imagery, language and diagrams that dynamically convey the ideas being presented so that they can be easily understood by an audience that may not be versed in those ideas in order that the ideas may add to civil discourse concerning an issue “ of the times” and influence a more productive direction in the future.

PROFESSIONAL WRITING
Writing is the art of reduction and communication of the essential. I write recognizing the power of words and the time limitations of the reader in the ever faster pace of day to day, minute to minute activity, cognizant of the different nature and opportunities of the media in use today.
JOURNALISM
Recognizing the limitations of time and culture, I write with the goal of understanding the past experience of the audience and communicating ideas and observations that are clearly understood and relevant to the audience’s own personal experience.
BUILDER
CONSTRUCTION
I have built new as well as renovated existing single family residences. The central challenge is to maximize the benefit and minimize the cost of construction, providing the best possible life cycle performance of the materials, components and building systems. In that process, it is important to achieve quality and accuracy in the connection between the different components and materials because it is one of the means by which the challenge of good construction is met.
CABINETRY
Just as in building construction, cabinetry focuses on the art of joinery of similar and dissimilar materials. I have designed and built freestanding furniture, component furniture and fixed in place cabinetwork of vary styles and visual language. Revealing the method and design of construction is an important part of the art of cabinetry.
INVENTOR
OMNIUM PRODUCTS
I work to provide others with beautiful, elegant and useful solutions to current need whether it be something as simple as an OMNIUM Food Preserver or as complex as the OMNIUM Prayer and Peace Cookies.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
I assist others in taking a product idea on the complicated and delicate journey from inception to “market”. Together we evaluate the product idea, determine the placement and agreement with the proper manufacturing entity and achieve a price for the product, which will guarantee both sales and a resulting profit.
ARTIST
GRAPHICS & RENDERING
I provide images that dramatically convey the goals and intentions of the project. Whether a rendering, a graphic layout or a logo, the work will make the viewer a believer.
DRAWING, PAINTING, & SCULPTURE
My goal and objective is to convey both the underlying issues, the meaning, qualities and sensibilities of the subject and its context, regardless of the medium or method of expression.
